10 Jan BMC SBA award to ‘Vivarea’

K Raheja Corp’s ‘Vivarea’ has been given ‘Best Residential Complex for E Ward’ award and “Gold Green Home certification’ by the BMC in a waste management audit (WMA) conducted on Mahatma Gandhi Day last year.
The society has successfully adopted practices such as automated garbage disposal, wet garbage composting, solid waste management, rainwater harvesting and it also offers central water heating facility and water filtration – facilities which offer residents the best living conditions.
The BMC had conducted the WMA between December 25, 2016 and October 2, 2017 through out Mumbai as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (SBA) announced by the Government of India.
With this achievement, ‘Vivarea’ is now looking forward to compete nationally for the ‘Best Residential Complex award’ under the SBA 2018 in BMC’s E ward and the officials of the Union Urban Development Ministry are expected to visit the complex this month. BMC has also recognized and awarded K Raheja Corp’s ‘Raheja Towers’, located at BKC, for the remarkable cleaning work under SBA.
