Our Sustainability Measures

Sustainable Site

Construction activity pollution control – vehicle tire cleaning arrangement at all entrance.
Topsoil preservation: Space has been located to collect the topsoil and finally handed over to a nursery.
Tree relocation – existing trees has been safely relocated.
Promoting use of alternate fuel vehicles in the building: 16 amps sockets are considered for at least 5% of total car parks provided in the building.
Special care is taken for differently able, barrier free design incorporated.
To reduce heat islands to minimize impacts on microclimates and human: combination of High solar reflective material used on roof surface and vegetated roof has been designed. Drought tolerant and native species in landscape design.

Energy & Atmosphere

High performance glazing, Ample day-lighting & adequate cross ventilation through window opening.
Fire Suppression System: CO2 based extinguishers have been proposed to be used.
Fire extinguishers are installed in all common areas which are CFC & Halon free.
10% reduction in common area lighting by using LED lights.
25% of hot water required for domestic purposes will be met by installing a solar hot water system.
Energy meters for continuous consumption monitoring of external lighting, municipal water pumping and STP.
We have ensured that the most energy efficient options are used for Common Area Operations.
All the domestic use pumps and motors will be having efficiency more than 60%* & 75%*.
Educating smart home technologies to optimize energy consumption.
Utilizing renewable energy sources such as solar panels for Common area lighting.

Indoor Environmental Quality

Naturally day-lighted apartments.
All common areas have the adequate daylight level.
All common areas in the development have been declared as ‘No Smoking’ zones.
Adequate natural fresh air ventilation in all apartments.
Operable windows in all regularly occupied spaces is provided for adequate fresh air ventilation.
Kitchens and bathrooms are adequately ventilated.
Low VOC paints, coatings, adhesives, and sealants have been proposed for all interior of the building.

Water Efficiency

Use of Low flow plumbing fixtures & On-site Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
Through Wastewater treatment, we will save and reuse over 35%* of the natural water.
Water use reduction up to 40% through the use of efficient flush & flow fixtures as well as use of treated water for flushing.
100% of the wastewater will be treated and reused.
Treated water is being used for landscape irrigation & flushing.
Drip irrigation system for Landscape – to save water further.
Water Metering for continuous monitoring to enhance the water performance in the project.
Rainwater harvesting system: To limit disruption and pollution of natural water flow; rainwater of roof & non roof area is proposed to be collected in Rainwater tank to use further for landscaping & flushing
Promoting water-efficient landscaping and irrigation systems.
Educating residents on water conservation practices.

Material & Resources

Construction waste management during construction is being followed at site for e.g. broken bricks and concrete debris are being reused on site, reinforcement steel, cardboard box, paint cans are being given to scrap dealers who are into recycling.
Space allocation in design for Segregation & collection system for post construction recyclable waste.
Use of recycle content materials for construction.
Use of locally manufactured building materials.
Separation of House-hold Waste-Dry and Wet waste.
Use of locally manufactured products with recycled content.
Eco-friendly paints, adhesives and Sealants proposed.
100% Organic Waste Management, Post Occupancy by installing OWC. The converted manure will be used in landscape and the indoor plants within residences.
